Hahaha, I've never heard that but I believe it.
Now its summer and I actually have some free time for once in my life, I'm gonna be starting a bit of an exercise regime methinks. I reckon I'll alternate between dumbells and jogging on alternate days, and see what I can achieve.
The most productive thing I've done with my summer so far is trying to learn how to play guitar, but I get too embarassed to do it when other people are home for some reason. Thankfully I have the house to myself a lot.
Oooh. What can you play so far?
Erm... a few random bits of Modest Mouse songs? Almost the verse of 'Karma Police'? Songs from the dinky little book I'm using, with varying degrees of success?
Hey, that's still neat. You've gotta start somewhere.
I used to play the guitar, but not very well. And I have played the bass (electric) and flute and piano, none very well. Still, I like music and it is fun to be able to to a little something on an instrument.
I want to find out what kind of guitars David Gilmour used and get one of 'em. Someday.
I play. I can do the whole chord, strum-strum, next chord, strum-strum thing pretty well. It's the "rhythm" part that eludes me. I just don't have it. I am a white man, and not an especially talented or gifted white man either, heh.
Hmmm...I don't know about that. I guess some people do not have rhythm. My mom can't sing, at all. It's interesting you can play and do the technical part but the part that lends the emotion eludes you.
Want better rhythm? Play DDR. A lot of it. Really.
The technical part is what gets me. It's chord-strum-strum-fuck-can't-get-my-fingers-on-the-next-chord-wait-strum-strum...
