The Gates of Horn and Ivory

Two Gates the silent House of Sleep adorn; Of polish'd Iv'ry this, that of transparent Horn:
True Visions thro' transparent Horn arise; Thro' polish'd Iv'ry pass deluding Lies.

What are you not getting away from? What has really captured your attention?

Personally, I am doing too much shopping in Second life.

Uh, sleeping? Can't do much in the state I'm in, so I'm just trying to nap my way through everything.

Hahaha, probably the computer! But everything I do is on the computer. I recently got away from drinking pop again :p And starting to kick using painkillers every day, too ~nodnods~

You use painkillers every day? So do I. Tramadol for my back. Sucks to have to take them. It's not a narcotic but close to it.

    Heroin.

Joking. Umm....orange drinks? I'm drinking an excessive amount of orange juice and sugar-free orangeade lately.

Orangeade is magic; I swear no other sweet drink quenches my thirst as well as it does. Best for hangovers and comedowns.

Omg what about orange Fanta, I love that stuff. That is what I drank when I was climbing in the Himalayas. I got to the top of a really excruciating hill and there were the sherpas waiting with cold fanta, how they got the ice is beyond me, some small village had it nearby and I drank an entire bottle and then half of another. I'll never forget the glad taste of that orange soda. Mmmmmm!!!

Me neither. They actually made us pizza one night. It was the strangest pizza I ever ate if you can imagine Nepalese pizza at 2 miles up a mountain.

Actually they did their best to treat us well and to feed us well. They were wonderful guys.

Orange Fanta? It's okay I guess, but Orange Tango is better. I don't think you guys have Tango though.

Fanta is an suspicious drink anyway, invented in WWII Germany when their division of Coca-Cola couldn't get the necessary ingredients shipped over to make coke. So basically it was invented because of the Nazis.

Argh, now I can never drink orange fanta again! :disgust: But we make our own diet orange soda anyhow. We have the canister of CO2 and the contraption that carbonates the water. Then you add the flavoring. No sugar and is the best thing we ever bought.

Tramadol is just as addictive as some narcotics...you will certainly have withdrawls if you stop any serious regiment.

    Ummh...I have to pick one?

@ Skully - Yah Sodastream. We adore it.

@ Ithieldin - yes, pick one. And I am taking 2 trams a day but if I don't I can hardly do my activities of daily living come night.

Maybe because of logistics. 1. It takes up appliance space. 2. You needs accessible stores nearby which can supply the cannisters. We have the space due to large kitchens in this area and the cannisters are sold at nearby shops.

I'm fairly sure shops are overall more accessible here than in the USA, mainly because of us all being crammed tightly together on an island, so I don't think it's that. Kitchen space could be a factor, but everyone here buys bullshit appliances like sandwich toasters, blenders, juicers etc, so I doubt it.
