The Gates of Horn and Ivory

Two Gates the silent House of Sleep adorn; Of polish'd Iv'ry this, that of transparent Horn:
True Visions thro' transparent Horn arise; Thro' polish'd Iv'ry pass deluding Lies.

I think eclipses are very cool, but I once saw the end of a rainbow.

Science fiction. I like that harder edge to it.

Archetypes or Icons (a literal icon)

I myself prefer Icons, like the ever illuminating Umaeril.

    Han Solo or Luke Skywalker?

Depends. If we're talking about the original movies, Han Solo definitely. If we're talking about the canon stuff though, probably Luke Skywalker for his life story as a whole. Han, from what I know, us more or less the same throughout. Luke, however, bounces between dark side and light side after Vader's death before succumbing to the dark side completely. The downward spiral that happens after Vader's death I find absolutely fascinating.

    Anti-heroes or reluctant heroes?

Wow, I had a hard time with the hero question too!

I like turf, not so into surf. I'm a sun and moon in Taurus, so very earthy.

A party at the beach or a party at the ski lodge?

Ugh, ski lodge is cool, but if it's a beach of my choice I will take it.

    Stonehenge or the Serpent Mound.

Stonehenge only because I have seen it. The Serpent Mound is very cool though. Both are awesome. But yeah, Stonehenge is just mind boggling, the whole thing. And there are holes there which bear my name.

The Loch Ness Monster or Bigfoot?

Stonehenge is awesome, yet have you looked into the theories of the ancient lost transatlantic religion theories and the theories that the serpent mound is tied to the ancient pre Hebrew legends of the garden of Edan? Now that is interesting.

That is very interesting indeed! And I have not. Are you referring to Mu? You neglected to leave a question.

Which is cooler....the Olympic Flame or the Statue of Liberty Flame?

The statue of liberty, since it is a proven Promethean, Venus, Lucifer, ect. associated light....

...is Mu short for something? Their is a belief in an ancient interconnection between the shamanistic based religions of the old and new world, and a belief that the garden of Edan creation myths move through this into Sumerian/Babylonian myths into Hebrew beliefs.

...the Indian tribes that exist in the past around the serpent mound, which many believe is far older then Stonehenge, in their myths state that the entire east coast of America was once a garden paradise, and that the first modern men evolved their through contact with enlightening beings...thus there are many who believe the circle the serpent holds in his mouth that can be seen from the air is a piece of fruit, and that this mound and ancient place of worship is the memorial stone for the garden of Edan.

My birthday. I'm looking forward to turning thirty this year, for one. But also, Christmas was ruined the year my Dad tried to kill himself on it. Kinda sucks the fun out of the day when one of your parents decides to end it all on a major holiday when you're ten.

Do you prefer spending time outdoors (hiking, swimming, etc.) or indoors (reading, gaming, etc)?

Oh god I could never get through either of those films, too long didn't watch. I guess I should some day.

Which is cooler, highlighter pens or colored gel pens?

Ithieldin, I can't sit through that movie, at least not anymore.

Colored gel pens. Not just because they look cool, but the sensation of them gliding over paper is one of my favorite things in the world.

Classic movies from when film was still in black and white, or cheesy b monster movies from the same era?

I'll answer, lmao........it depends on the film. I am going to go with classic from when film was still in black and white due to some classics like Philadelphia Story, The Thin Man, and a host of others I am too tired to remember. But those cheesy movies are great...especially when made into a MST or Rifftrax.

Which is cooler: campfire, marshmallows and good cheer or no campfire but gazing up at the milky way and the stars?

What a rotten decision! I could do without the marshmallows, so I'll go with gazing up at the Milky Way. Usually that sort of things demands solace and less light pollution anyway. Although maybe 5 or 6 years ago I did one of those party drugs, and there was a bonfire, and we could see the Milky Way. I had a blast pointing out the names of constellations and their stars to people, along with trivial facts about size and age that could have been off by several billions.

Log homes or subterranean homes? (liberal definitions of each)

I have to say a subterranean home. Not only do I like the word "subterranean" but I think if I were in a log house I would think about the trees getting chopped down and that would not do me any good. So yeah...subterranean!

Sky dive thrills or hang glider thrills?

I would have to agree with you because I always thought Doriath would be one of the coolest places gto live in the first age of middle earth.

I have never done a hang glider, or sky dived, yet, I have fast roped out of a helicopter, and the adrenaline rush was greater then a line of coke, so I will assume sky diving.

also, the milky way all the way...are you kidding me? Marsh mellows are a symptom of advanced society, our society was built from the foundation by sky gazers, without them man would not have survived nor created our greater social system. I do like them burnt and chewy though...

how about some cold war shit:

I Dream of Genie, or Bewitched?
