Second day at Kennedy Park in the East Bay. It's a regular park with a huge grassy field and play structure, but also a carousel, train, and petting zoo. They used to offer pony rides but not anymore I guess. But still, the carousel and train and giant play structure are enough to keep her happy hehe. It's good to carve out little bits of time like this, with everything being so out of whack. We're hoping to wind up in Manteca but I guess we'll see. Just let karma be real. Preferably in this lifetime. Not so I can gloat, but because life has been so fucked up for so long as a direct result of antimother and her family that I think I've earned a little poetic justice.
And for those missing large gaps in the story and want updates, I haz a blog: Deadmanmusings.wordpress.com
Eta the blog will eventually be about processing old shit, coping mechanisms, and how and why they work. But right now I'm mostly processing shit as it happens. Also massive fucking triggers warnings on all of it.
Heh, she looks like she is having fun! Regarding your blog I am glad you have a place for your writings out of the sight of your family? They have no idea, right?
If they've found it they haven't let on, but it's an old name I used when I first got the internet so I highly doubt they'll find it. It's been so crazy though. Once we find a place we're leaving and never coming back.
I don't blame you one bit. Make sure to update me on the new address! Or remind me close to Oct 12 Actually I'll just write it in my calendar now to make sure I have the right address. yay! Btw, there is a picture there a few posts back on the other page (I just "liked" it so you should know which pic) but Winry is sooooo adorable, I showed her pic to my husband like I usually do when you post them and he just melted! She is a heart-breaker for sure! Such a sweet smile.
Thanks. And yeah as soon as we have an address I'll let you know. And hehe aww thanks <3
This is My favorite picture from Kennedy Park. Kennedy Park is in the East Bay, it's a park with a large play structure and a huge grassy field, and places to bbq, but it also has a carousel and a train ride and a petting zoo, and concessions, with an ice cream cart in the summer. It's an amazing park and I'm so glad I got to share it with my husband and my daughter. This one was taken on the train ride, I think the second time around, and I love it because she just looks so happy. This was how we spent 4th of July lol. And then because the friend we were staying with lives in a bad area adjacent to Oakland, everyone went outside to see the illegal fireworks that honestly are a lot cooler than the legal ones lol.
Aw that is so great you had such a good time there, that is awesome. And lol about the fireworks hehe. Winry's pic is just too cute, hehe.
Thanks it was a good day. Luckily things are getting better, mom really isn't coming around, which makes living here somewhat peaceful. And within two weeks we should get the check, and that will hopefully allow us to move soon. So fingers crossed we get out soon. And I swear I'm never talking to mom again.
This is from another visit to Kennedy Park. She got to meet new friends and played a ton. I'm glad to have pictures of her neubg happy during all this.
She's prepared for battle
Cute little gamer
Oh hey.I know that place! I took my daughter there several times when I lived in Hayward. Wow, that was 10 years ago. We were staying with my mom for eight months.
Hehe thanks. And yup! In the east bay it's well known but not much outside of that. I'm glad I was able to share a happy memory with al and winry though
like the picture. It looks like something that would be painted
Got to play Fallout 76 for 4 hours last night. I am not used to playing online games. I don't have a headset. I need to get one!
How was it? It sounds like a weird concept so Al and I haven't picked it up, but I'm curious.
Ah I missed Winry's b-day! Argh!! Entervixen, please send me your new address! Winry is 4 now?
